GPAAIS will be conducting its next educational event on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM.

The event will consist of a reception followed by a presentation and dinner. The event will take place at Monterey Bay Fish Grotto which is located at 1411 Grandview Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15211 on Mt. Washington. The presentation will be conducted by Jonathan A. Bernstein, MD. Dr. Bernstein is a Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Immunology/Allergy and the Director of the UC/VAH Clinical Research Unit at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, OH. He received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic and an allergy and immunology fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago. He is board-certified in internal medicine and allergy and is a DIA-certified clinical investigator.

Dr. Bernstein will deliver a presentation entitled: Core Therapy for Hereditary Angioedema - C1 Esterase Inhibitor On-Demand Replacement Therapy for HAE.

All members are encouraged to attend the reception, presentation and dinner. Associate members are encouraged to attend the reception.

The reception will take place from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM. The presentation and dinner will occur from 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM.
