The speaker will be Robert Erskine.

The topic of his presentation will be a review of the current Immunotherapy Practice Parameters.

Bob is an Associate Scientific Director for ALK Abello. He has a BS degree in Microbiology from Texas A&M University. He then spent time in the PhD program in Immunology at Harvard University.

Upon leaving Harvard, he worked as a Research Associate at Biogen Idec where he was a member of the pre-clinical and clinical development teams for omalizumab.

Later, he joined ALK Abello where he was Manager, Scientific Information for 4 years prior to assuming his current role as Associate Scientific Director. In this role, he leads the Scientific Services Division for all of North America. His areas of interest and focus include the following: therapeutic strategies for allergy immunotherapy; consultation for off-label approaches to treatment; molecular & cellular mechanisms of allergic disease; environmental, biological, socioeconomic factors impacting therapeutic outcomes in allergy.
