The Air We Breathe: A Regional Summit on Asthma in our Community

Conference Overview:
To commemorate World Asthma Month during the month of May, Allegheny General Hospital and Allegheny Health Network are presenting a Summit on asthma and related community issues in the Pittsburgh region. The Summit will focus on asthma causes, its high prevalence in our region, and gaps in treatment of the disease. The Summit will also examine newly presented research findings about asthma in our region, including an update on methods to achieve asthma control, relevant environmental triggers of asthma, regional impact of outdoor air pollution on asthma, and community and state efforts to improve asthma control in our region.
